Viral Kid Yodeler Belts Out Gospel Classic ‘I Saw The Light’

We all know about the gospel piece “I Saw The Light” made famous by a country star legend, Hank Williams. For this young kid yodeler, Hank is the ultimate inspiration! Mason Ramsey sang a yodeling tune in the middle of Walmart and after having a video uploaded to social media, he went viral. The crisp vocals of the boy quickly captured those around him. Since then, with his powerful vocals and Southern charm, Mason has stormed the internet! Listen to his catchy classic gospel singing below:

“I wandered so aimless life filled with sin,
I wouldn’t let my dear Savior in,
Then Jesus came like a stranger in the night,
Praise the Lord I saw the light”

It’s obvious that Mason truly enjoys performing and his love of music (and Hank Williams!) shines through. Tackling the Southern favorite “I Saw The Light” from his new album “Famous”, Mason knows he has some mighty big shoes to fill. Covering some of country music’s beloved songs such as “Jambalaya (On The Bayou)” and “Lovesick Blues” Mason has his work cut out for him. But this young man is ready! Maybe it’s his traditional 10-gallon hat and boots that give him the added confidence boost. Sometimes he throws in a bowtie too! We just can’t get enough of this adorable fella!

But it’s not just his look that has us loving this kid. This amazing yodeler has stunning vocals! There is no denying his incredible talent.
