The CBS Christmas And Holiday Special Schedule Is Out Now

The holidays are here and now CBS has officially released its ‘Christmas and holiday special’ schedule.

The holiday season will kick off this year with The Thanksgiving Day Parade, which airs on Thursday, Nov. 22 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. ET. Now in its 58th year, the calssic parade will be hosted by the team at “Entertainment Tonight”.

The rest of the Christmas season on CBS is filled with a number of beloved classics, including “Frosty the Snowman” on Nov. 23 and the Christmas staple “Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer” on Nov. 27. Many of these specials will also be available to stream live on CBS All Access.

New this year to the lineup is “Garth: Live at Notre Dame!” on Dec. 2 at 8:00 p.m. ET, which will feature country star Garth Brooks performing at the first live concert ever held at Notre Dame Stadium at the University of Notre Dame.

On Dec. 14 at 8 p.m. ET, you can catch what has become a regular now each Christmas the “I Love Lucy Christmas Special,” featuring a colorized version of “The Christmas Episode” and a newly colorized version of “Pioneer Women.” I love Lucy has become one of our families must see events now.

On Dec. 26 at 8:00 p.m. ET, the “41st Annual Kennedy Center Honors” will honor Cher, Philip Glass, Reba McEntire, Wayne Shorter and “Hamilton” co-creators Lin-Manuel Miranda, Thomas Kail, Andy Blankebuehler and Alex Lacamoire.
