‘Stranger Things’ Star Millie Bobby Brown Opens Up About Her Health Struggles

Netflix’s “Stranger Things” has swept the nation with it’s creepy and haunting story that is just too good to stop binge-watching! The cast of Stranger Things is filled with amazing talent, and it is even more incredible because so many of them are very young! One of these talented stars is 13-year-old British actress Millie Bobby Brown who plays “11” on the hit show.

Brown is no doubt talented, but did you know that she struggles with hearing loss? Brown spoke about her health issues in a recent interview with “Variety” magazine. She explained that she was born with partial hearing loss in one ear. After years of tubes and treatments, she eventually lost all of her hearing. Even though she struggles with hearing, Brown wasn’t going to let that get in the way of her acting career. She works so hard to be the best actress she can, but that’s not all! Brown is also a talented singer despite her hearing loss!

“I just started to sing, and if I sound bad I don’t care because I’m just doing what I love,” Brown said. “You don’t have to be good at singing. You don’t have to be good at dancing or acting. If you like to do it, if you genuinely enjoy doing it, then do it. No one should stop you.”
