He Fights for You, What Do You Do For Him?

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Exodus 14:14

We often admire people who don’t give up easily and are willing to stand up and fight for what they believe. We appreciate their tenacity, strength, and resilience as they oppose other people and groups who take them on. At some point or another, everyone must stand up for themselves and what they believe.

However, too often we fight when we don’t need to do so. Instead of trying to make things happen for ourselves, we can relax and allow God to open the door ahead of us. We don’t have to battle everyone we encounter, assuming the worst and overcoming everything we face.

Sometime we have to realize the power that comes from being still. We have to quit fighting and trying to make things happen on our own and allow God to fight for us and make things happen. We’re not alone, and we don’t have to face life by ourselves.

Today, let your Father win the battle for you.
