Wedding pictures are generally the most precious and memorable ‘big day’ keepsakes of a couple. But what if everything turned out a bit more ‘spooky’ than planned?

Unfortunately, that’s what happened to one couple. Kevin Matthew Dennis originally posted his favorite wedding photo (featured below) to Reddit, reports WNEP 16. He wrote this comment to Reddit, “Me and my wife’s favorite wedding photo … Until we saw what was between us … We still don’t know who it was.”

Could it have been a guest? Reddit commenters were quick to chime in on their take. “It looks like Smeagol after the Precious,” wrote one commenter, referring to the character from J.R.R. Tolkien’s popular Lord of the Rings series. Another said, “It looks like Vigo the Carpathian”, a medieval sorcerer.
